Sonic CD special stage time attack - PAL???
« on: March 17, 2010, 08:59:33 pm »
Is it true that only the PAL version can reach the times listed on this site?

I can't come close to any of the times, even copying youtube videos second for second.
Also, timing the youtube videos with my watch, they come up slightly slower than the times I'm getting on my NTSC Sega CD

So is there a way for me to convert my NTSC times?
This is totally lame.

Why not just play the PAL version?

Also, no, there's no converting... at least not for purposes of submission.  If you're curious as to how fast your times would be, I believe it's the usual 5/6 rule.  You have to earn the stat if you want to submit it, so if you want to beat those times, either get a megadrive or turn to emulation.

And no, it isn't fair, just like we ignore version differences between SA(DX)/SA and SA2(B)/SA2.
